Beng Melea

This isolated temple is covered by vegetation which makes it look like a "lost temple". Built according to Angkor Wat style under the reign of the king that built Angkor Wat (Suryavarman II), Beng Mealea has no bas-reliefs but many carvings on the lintels and doors. When the temple was active under the Khmer era, it was covered with murals.
